Do you have ideas about what the Co-op could do better? If so, please become involved in the meetings where your ideas need to be heard--even if only as a one-time visitor.
Committees can be formed by any group of members who either want to brainstorm, solve a problem, or activate an idea. The Food Co-op presently has three operating committees:
Membership Committee: Addresses ways of keeping members involved and attempts to make sure that all members' points of view are voiced.
Finance Committee: Searches for ways to make the Co-op a responsible and sustainable organization.
Advertising Committee: Strategizes ways of keeping the Co-op in the media.
We are presently in need of members to join the Community Outreach committee, which is presently not operational. This group attends public events and makes sure that the Co-op is involved in various social events.
